This lovely first-floor, two-bedroom apartment in PARADISE GARDENS 3 is the owner's home during part of the year.  It is in a peaceful location yet a short walk to great places.  The beach, restaurants, nightclubs, etc. are 5-10 minutes on foot, the picturesque harbour a few minutes more.  Whatever your age, this apartment offers a perfect base for a lazy or active holiday.

It is well furnished and equipped, and ideal for two couples or a family, there are two comfortable camp beds and a baby cot, plus the convertible sofa. The twin beds in bedroom 2 can be stacked.  There are vast built-in closets in both bedrooms. All rooms are air-conditioned and there are ceiling fans in the lounge and on the balcony. There's a DVD/CD player plus SKY TV. The good-sized balcony equipped with a table that seats four offers a view of the swimming pool and lawns.  The balcony gets full sunshine throughout the morning and is shaded in the afternoon (an advantage during the very hot summer months).

The residence has a super overspill pool with plenty of sun beds, a kiddies pool and poolside showers and toilets for your convenience.  The gardens are quite simply among the very best in the area; this one boasts beautiful gardens with palm trees, semi-tropical plants and flowers everywhere all year round.  Peace and greenery!

Paradise Gardens is one of the most successful developments in Cyprus; it won the prestigious Best Cypriot Development award in 2004 during its construction.  It is divided into four quite independent sections. There are a number of permanent residents who make sure the pool, lawns, gardens and common areas are being maintained and cleaned to the highest standards.

Throughout the holiday season there are lots of water sports including pedalos, water skiing, banana boats, windsurfing, ascentional parachute and diving (courses for beginners, and several wrecks to explore under professional supervision).  Jet-skis can be hired in several places.  The harbour offers boat trips including a Spanish galleon, giant catamaran, glass-bottom boats, speedboats, jetboats and a large ‘booze cruise' liner.  There is go-karting, biking, a water park, jeep safaris... and of course Paphos old town and some interesting archaeological sites to visit nearby.

If golf is your thing, you have a choice of three excellent courses all about 20 minutes drive away.  Visitors' green fees are reasonable.

For the more adventurous, a visit to the capital Nicosia and the Turkish-occupied northern part of the island is really worth the trip (there are many affordable coach tours on offer; the pick-up point is next to the residence).  If you like walking, take a trip to the Troodos Mountains and enjoy the breathtaking scenery (the owner, a keen hiker himself, can advise you about coastal and hill walking).  If you are visiting during the winter months, most years you can even go skiing or snowboarding.
